Uuuh... who's that? :tard:

Randy Rhoads
Oh, stupid me

DANNY WAS THE MAN
Few besides Roy Bucannon and Danny could be called MASTER of the Telecaster

You're right, Danny was the Man !!  I could never really understand why he didn't become a HUGE star.

HE had a day job, and he was doing alright.
Seriously, he played because he loved it, but had a day job he was loyal to

that is what I heard anyway, and that was before he died.

The best guitarist I know have day jobs
getting famous is a crap shoot, and believe me if only the best got famous that is a sad thing considering Tom Delonge is famous.
It is not a matter of how good you are, it is a matter of how willing you are to gamble everything on giving it your all.
There are thousands of musicians living not so great lives eaking out a living for every one that makes it to the big time, weather they be a guy in the back of a music store teaching lessons, to a guy who has been gigging for 35 years and never got discovered. The whims of the industry also men that once you get discovered, you will have 3 albums to become a super star or reside in the "where are they now" file.

I'm not arguing the fact of musicians and day jobs, It's just that I don't feel like working anymore.LOL

Thanks, Jusatele.  Here's another:  Joe Pass, RIP.  Layin' down some blues in a wholly different realm.

covered Joe P in the original post, he is at the top of my list, very top.

Why so you did.  Apparently my memory ain't what it used to be.  Nothing wrong with him being mentioned twice in a list of admired artists, however.
