It was a hard choice, but in the end I had to go with the paisley, Feel like I watched it happen and it turned out so cool!

Not everybody can produce sound clips, but most everybody has access to a camera.  There's already less than 10 entries a month usually, there'd be even less if it were a sound clip contest.  Besides, I have no reason doubt anyone, but with a soundclip we're at the mercy of what someone says is on there.  Not to mention, it may be that guitar, but not that owner, or that owner, but not that guitar.  That would be a recording gear, equipment, and technique contest.  Even with bad pics, we can get a feel for the beauty of a finish.  In every case so far, I feel it's been the strength of the build and not so much the quality of the pic.

I voted on my favorite guitar, one of my favs of all time on this board:

Marko's. black korina+tobaccoburst+gold hardward+RW neck+ebony board=magic! He's the only one who's got the full picture in my book. Exotic top+neck+back+fingerboard, unusual pickups+wiring, extreme looks. I like this guitar even more this way, as a VIP, than if it were a les paul

I find the problem with getting bass guitars in here is that most are built on the "conservative side". Nothing stands out as "Oh that looks awesome", nothing really flashy like a lot of the guitars. Am I wrong?  :icon_scratch:
