BOOO Thats not really fair, I mean why have a competition at all if your just going to give Tonar instapwn powers. Might as well just rename the site "Unofficial Tonar Forum" and we can all just stay at home and spend money on beer and not building guitars

well sarcasm doesn't always come through on the interwebz, and after reading through multiple comments to the tune of "nobody can beat Tonar" it was the impression that I was left with. I don't know that anyone will beat Tonar but I say give people a fair chance, because thats the spirit of the competition, and think of the bragging rights of being able to say "My finish beat a Tonarcaster"

Ignore what I was saying.. I will still post something... however, I don't think that rubbing some stain, oil and wax is as impressive compared to your artwork or Tonar's burst..

Everybody has the same chance here, you post and those who like it vote on it, there is no "weight" on the vote: you, me and the Admnistrator have the same weight when voting, so you've now 33.33% of chance of victory...
And don't take it this voting too serious please, this is more fun than anything and the winner gets only a pic of the guitar on the front page...

I agree wholeheartedly, heck im not even sure who I am gonna vote for and I have my own guitar in the mix haha but I do like Billy Bo, too bad we don't have a "Pick two" system for voting.

Agreed to a certain point, while Tonars tele is nothing less than spectactular. Oil finishes aren't much different than using stains and dyes and then nitro, after all there's the grain filler-sand-grain filler-sand-grain filler-sand...Rub on oil-wet sand-and repeat-numerous times, then just skip the nitro. On the other hand, the artwork is a whole different ball game, as a fellow artist natural talent isn't acquired as is a learn able set of skills..

I'd vote for Tonar! I kinda agree the fact that rubbing oil/wax isnt as impressive as tonarmagic, even though the bass was gorgeous!

thats extremely true for me. if it's a tough choice between two awesome guitars it always comes down to "which would i rather own?"
