seriously... this is one of the toughest competitions yet, and only 6 or 7 guitars/basses total. i voted tonar, but i felt a little bad. i don't know how "amateur" i really consider him after seeing so many of his awesome finishes :icon_biggrin:

The burst, the removal of the dye from the binding...  To do that kind of a job is just hard to believe.  It is nuts how difficult some of the simpler stuff is.  I have to admit, I like the Plain Jane pictures better.  The odd exposure thing is too busy for me, but the detail in making that finish look as it does is very impressive.  A 335 burst on a Tele?  E-yah, very nice.

Tough month: love Tonar's, Doug's an Marko's guitar... And the other are also very cool, to say the least...

But beside made the most incredible 3-yone burst ever, I'm not that found on that finish... Doug's is really awesome, but I'd have gone with different neck woods... So, hey Big Dutch, voted on you again... Make your part and win the Football's world cup  :laughing7:

I think Tonar does great work, but that Tele is not to my taste - burst finish, dark pickguard, busy metal details: just not my cup of tea.

Voted Interstate Joe and not looking back. Its a very refreshing and different Jazz which I always love seeing. Tonar's finish is second to none, yes, besides the finish its a standard Tele. This isn't just a beauty competition.

Finch was my second choice.

I had my Nexus One, but was in an area where connectivity was limited at best. I was also SUPER busy the whole time and had no time to stay on top of forums and RSS feeds.
