I see a lot of pictures etc...of LP's with a nice neat setup. It has the pickups and 3 way switch wires coming in to the cavity as normal, but the jack wires go through the cavity straight to the 3 way switch, I assume, without connecting to anything in the cavity.
I tried this, simply connecting the jack ground to the 3 way switch instead of like the SD site says to do, which I find very combersome and messy. It didn't work until I then grounded the jack to a pot.
What am I missing?? Do I need to connect the jack ground to the volume wires somewhere over by the 3 way switch? Or do I connect the volume wire grounds to the 3 way switch ground?
