Green finishes - opinions please

Price aside, which green finish which Warmoth offers is most appealing to you ?

Metallic Sherwood Green ?

Metallic Shamrock Green ?

Green Flake ?

Turquoise Flake ?

Sherwood Green hands down.

I like the shade of the green flake, but I don't particularly care for flake finishes. Warmoth's metallic finishes are more flake than metallic, so they're out, too. The candy green is the best, but would be better if it was as dark as the green flake. What they need to offer is a British Racing Green like Gretsch's Duo Jet, or best of all, a Cagey green like my L5S  :laughing7:

Of the ones you listed the turquoise flake is the nicest color but, like Kevin, I don't like flake finishes. Would like to see that in a solid color.

Of the choices given,  I like the depth of the Sherwood green,  but transparent green looks pretty awesome over swamp ash, if you are thinking in that direction.

I think I've said it before but I'll say it again - the world needs more green guitars!

I have a candy green and a metallic dragon burst. They're both gorgeous.

Sherwood green is IMHO a bit of a weird shade - I really like it! That (and transparent green) are on my list for future/maybe projects.

Candy turquoise is nice (but isn't green).

The flake finishes are over the top, so I'd like some of those too.

I guess you're  only interested in metallics etc., but I really like surf green for the 50s vibe.

I have an Ibanez SZ520 with a quilt top and a nice dark transparent green.

Satin on all the metallics looks really nice. Somehow makes the body look like a solid piece of... stuff.
