Well, since the thread is about good ideas that never caught on, I don't think that anyone is saying that the Robot guitar is a bad idea. It just hasn't caught on.

Can we include Hybrid Guitars in here?  I know we've had the Parker Fly, Fishman Powerbridges, Mike Christian and Graphtec piezo saddles but I don't think they've ever really taken off in the way that some thought they would.
