Got a chance to play this weekend with the Bari-Tele through a Vox AC-30, with a TS9 Tube Screamer and a TC Electronics Nova Delay, using a bit of verb from the amp on the cleans.

Man I love this guitar.  I stuck with the bridge pickup split to SC mode for most of the use of this guitar.  It chimes wonderfully, and chugs nice and full, thick, but still plenty of upper end detail without being harsh.

Played 4 worship services with an average of 400 people per service, got lot's of compliments on the guitar in both looks and sound.

Sorry no clips.

I was just listening to a couple of your cuts, Tony.
Are you working with seven string much of the time?

I had an idea this morning to do a seven string Jazzmaster/Jag.  More useful perhaps than a Bass VI, but with some of the heavy cleans in the bottom, but still loads of top end.
Probably get a Warmoth (or other) 7 string neck, and do the body myself.
I wonder if Ken could make me a set of 7 string JM pickups?
:o

I spend about 30 % of my time between the TFS6, the 7 String Ibby, and the Bari-Tele, and the remaining 10% on the acoustic.

Each serve a purpose for songs they were written with.

I'd love to get a very qood quality made Warhead-ed 7 string Tele ala: http://www.rondomusic.com/tc-725nat.html.

So far, they're the only company offering one with an actual 7 string designed Tele bridge.
I'd want a humbucker in the bridge though.

I cannot stand the Tunomatic/STP application used on the ESP's.  The Flatmount or one like the Agile are the only way to go.

perhaps.....

with lots of strings and pickups in between?

Perhaps on a modern tele, but I think I would like at least one 7 string Tele with vintage styled appointments.
I can't stand the ESP Stephen Carpenter 7 Tele mainly because of those brick sized EMG's and the Tuno/STP combo.
I really want an Agile (Styled) one with a vintage looking bridge and a real 7 string designed Tele bridge pickup with the 3 mounting holes.  If I can't get that, then I'll do a standard 7 string flatmount bridge and a 7 string humbucker ala S.D. PAF-7, or just have John Carlsen wind me another custom wound humbucker.

I have other ideas for a sixer Tele, with some more modern appointments.  For now, the Bari-Tele will suffice as a vintage(ish) vibed Tele with a quirk (bariton) thrown in.

I played my Bari and church the other day too! Loved it.  Speaking of, I still to post pics of that

I'm waiting for the CD to come back from the day I played mine.
I have to dump it into the computer & take the sermon out that way I can post a clip to just the music.
