We are doing some covers at the works Christmas party.  It should be OK, we;ve had a few rehearsals, but if it all descends into chaos, then it'll just be funny.

I'll try and get someone to take some pics and vids of the 8-Ball in action.  :icon_thumright:

So.....How'd it go?

It was faaaaaaaar better than I thought it was going to be, although obviously we did screw up a few times big styleeeeeee.  But then, we'd only had 2 rehearsals, and we only had 1hour to rig up the PA and soundcheck before everyone started arriving.  I got really stressy, as being the engineer in the band (the rest were made up of radio presenters etc) I had to rig the gear.

But we got there, I had a beer, and it all went swimmingly well, all things considered.  Everyone had a great time, but then they were all drunk, so wouldnt have cared anyway.

There are a few pics floating around on my facebook page, but I'm waiting to see the good ones.

....... I'm mixing the multitrack recording we did of it, as we speak.  (ran all the sources into a Mackie mixer, firewire out to a mac laptop running logic.)

I'll do a few tweaks to a few parts and then post them here for your delectation.
