Did you use an stock Warmoth bridge rout so you could use the Hipshot flat mount bridge? If so which one?

Thanks

I don't think Frown has been on the forum a lot lately so I will provide you with a link where the information is.

I am fairly certain Frown used the same option on his Jazzmaster as he mentions the Hipshot bridge rout also in the first post of this thread.

Hi all,

Stratamania is correct with his response [thank you kind sir!], regretably I'm not around as much these days - certainly not as much as I'd like to be - damn work getting in the way of fun, and no email prompting thread alerts to remind me to check! But I have been thinking about possible next builds everytime I look at my parts drawers...

Anywhoo, the Hipshot bridge rout was a specific request in the additional comments box, when I ordered this guitar [f I recall correctly] I think it's now a standard option?

Regarding the bridge choice, I'd go for the thicker base plate one, the 0.175 over the 0.125 I think it is, as the saddles can be set lower and flatter, thus more comfy for your picking hand - while the U shaped saddles are nice and rounded at the screw anchoring end, the square corners at the front are a tad sharper than they should be [in my view], considering the whole saddle is likely to be angled up this seems like a bit of a flaw where finesse and refinement is concerned... But production / machine costs etc

I went with: https://hipshotproducts.com/collections/guitar-bridges/products/fixed-guitar-bridge?variant=12741771165795

Hope this helps!  :icon_thumright:

Also hope I get follow up notifications too! Now where's that setting in the User CP...  :icon_scratch:
