Just some ideas....

I've got two Tele's sitting here, both with neck hb routes and standard tele bridge routes.
I dont need to use a HB, a phat cat or other HB size would be ok.  OR, I can fit a strat pickup
in there too, or standard tele pickup at the neck.  I'm lookin for ideas

I was thinking, maybe get a very light wound HB and a fairly heavy wound tele pickup.
Also thinkin, maybe a Phat Cat at the neck and a sort of hot tele pickup.

I've got on hand - a Fralin 5% over tele pickup... so it would nice to match up with that.

I'm open to ideas!~

The Fralin P92 in his lightest wind - get that wide range HB sound. Never tried it but I will someday.

Though this would not fit the HB route I don't think, I am really really interested in trying a firebird neck pickup / tele bridge combo. Could potentially be the bees knees. Anybody here tried that one?

The thought of a mini hum at the neck came to mind.... it can  be done, just a different pickguard

I just placed an order for a mini humbucker for my tele at Vintage Vibe.
...if you decided to go with a mini HB, check them out.

As I find I spend most of my playing time on a Strat on the neck pickup, and mostly the bridge pickup on a Tele, I'd go the Fralin at bridge and a tasty Strat pickup at neck, like a Rio Grande Vintage Tallboy or a Fralin Blues Special.

Well... for this one I gotta get out the door pronto.... I pulled the trig on a neck phat cat.  Got the pickguard and all the bling from W - so it should be arriving pretty dang soon.
