Gibson Strat...?

I wasn't fond of the controller layout.  :dontknow:

You almost never had to use the left side, so you can just hold the middle and the right side of it.

I smell another thread starting!

+1 this thread has been hijacked already though. So we might as well stay here  :icon_jokercolor:

Its now officially on the Gibson Homepage

I just can't believe this. April 1st is long gone. And these guitars come at a MSRP between 250 and 450$.  :dontknow: Yeah, right.

Look at all the comments lol.

But on the bright side: I'm off the the Oktoberfest  :eek:ccasion14:

How about this quote... "Gibson Preserves Legacy of the Most Creative and Influential Musician of the 20th Century".

I mean come on. Seriously.

Another one!

"Bridge
The “Jimi” really stands out with a vintage-inspired, six-screw fulcrum tremolo with individual, adjustable saddles."

Oh hohoho, this is priceless stuff!

Wow... exactly the same, not even the distorted version. And that's an ugly neck.
Someone doesn't know good maple neck blank importers.

Holy crap! You cant be serious.

Look at that hideous headstock. The reversed CBS Strat headstock was classic, What the fudge is this?
Why is the bridge right handed?

Look at those bizarre inlays. Looks like a kids toy.

If it was really a "tribute" guitar, wouldn't it be a "lefty" that's turned upside down for right handed players? Or a "righty" turned upside down for a left handed player? And what is wrong with the headstock, Gibson afraid to get sued? I think the rest of the guitar is grounds enough for Fender to say "WTF, call the lawyers". I mean really, Gibson sued PRS over the single cutaway for being too close to the Les Paul. PRS used a different headstock design, Gibson still sued. So does the new headstock shape keep them safe from Fender's lawyers? I hope not. Gibson, you should be ashamed!!!! Orvil is is spinning a hole to China about now!!!

It looks like a poorly made POS!!

Because righties are more numerous than that other type.

That neck would be a factory second if warmoth sold it, yet it's the showcase on their website. Huge fail for all the reasons you guys say. Wow.

I think it would be a candidate to the "wood dust maker" machine

yet i imagine if i buy one of these and leave it in the box for 10 years i'll have a collectors item.
