GAS Alert!!!!

Because I'm paranoid about missing something with weird specs, I'm unwittingly on morning and night watch as far as the Screamin' Deals section is concerned. All that preamble to let you all know it just got updated, though it's more actual deals on some great necks rather than the weird stuff I'm looking out for.
 
Aaron may think me crazy for seeing patterns where no patterns exist, but some interesting patterns have certainly emerged in the Showcase! Seems to me like this is the moment for Gibson-influenced right-hand reverse models with interesting wood choices.

1) Purpleheart right-hand reverse Strat neck, Gibson scale length, standard thin profile and a black ebony fretboard
2) Padouk right-hand reverse Strat neck, standard scale length, 59 Roundback profile with some interesting inlays and a Ziricote fretboard
3) Mahogany right-hand reverse Tele neck, Gibson scale length, Boatneck profile and an Indian rosewood fretboard

There are two other Gibson scale length necks; the walnut Hombre has been there for a short while, but the Roasted Maple tele neck with block white pearloid inlays sorta falls into the pattern of the above.

The necks are my kind of weird, but the eyes continue to search for gloss painted headstocks.

EDIT: The Roasted Maple and Padouk necks are gone, but yet another Gibson scale neck with unique wood has appeared, this time made with Goncalo Alves and a Macassar Ebony fretboard!

Were they all from the same person?! It's unbelievably specific, you have to admit!

Fingers crossed I get fair warning when something comes along to take the place of the capri orange neck that I lost out on. Still stings...
 
Rare neck alert: a reverse right-handed strat neck of roasted maple with a charcoal frost headstock!

This ticks almost all of my boxes, except for it being in a satin finish. I will be stewing over this for a while.

Ahem...selfishly, there is a neck I see that I want to buy, and therefore I'm not going to call out. Those of you who have seen me post around would probably know which one it is. There's one criteria about it that would make it slightly difficult for me to play (it's left-handed), but I wanted to shoot my shot and ask if it'd be possible to request a nut change on a showcase neck for an upcharge?

haha. I think I know which neck, and it's actually on my desk right now to be put away on the shelf. You can always ask customer service about the nut change. There might be a caveat that removing/installing a new nut might damage the finish.

A call was made and a recommendation was made to have a tech remove the nut instead. This is what I expected so I'm not upset, but that does make this go back into the stare and think category... :/
