Hi , First post here ....

The concept is a piezo only bass , no mag pickup , to be used with Roland's V-Bass.
It can also be used "Stand alone" with the 1/4 out jack , in case of emergencies....  :help:
I wanted to put a 45° out GK plug to avoid rippin it apart , those cable/plugs being very expensive...

It's a Black Korina body with a flamed Maple top.
And a standard , Maple/Ebony 5 string neck.

It's a Graph Tech Ghost kit , with the Acoustiphonic Preamp.
I also added an EMG EQ for further "tuning" of the piezo sound.

Hows the tone?

Hard to explain ; Lots and lots of sustain , tone is darker ( softer? ) than my other maple/alder body if that can explain.....

That's awesome.  What string spacing did you go with on the Hipshot bridge?

That Graphtech bridge comes in the "medium" spacing (+-17mm)

While I think your bass is beautiful, and a really unique concept well executed, you had me at your screen-name.

I get that a lot...... :icon_thumright:

Nice one!  Looks super clean.  What's that wooden stick under the B string?  :kewlpics:

Late to the party (again) - NICE build   :icon_thumright:
Thanx!
I really like it , it's almost perfect.
When I'll have time , I'll thin down the neck a little bit.

I build it to go with the Roland VB-99 , and it's a very nice combo.
I also modded my Carvin fretless to be able to drive the VB-99
Nirvana :headbang1:
