Fretboard Scale

OK So I have just recieved my Warmoth 24 3/4" Scale Conversion Neck ,  Looking For A body now from the showcase  Will The neck work with any of these VIP, LP, SG , Soloist, I cant get my head round how different scale lengths give you the same notes.....
