Fretboard intruding onto pickup mounting ring space?

I've got a Warmoth pro neck with angled headstock and one of their strat bodies.  I just test fit the neck onto the body and was amazed at the precision of the pocket/neck fit.  One thing I'm worried about is that the fretboard looks like it comes up to about a 1/4" of the neck humbucker mounting hole.  Is this normal?  I hope this is the right forum lol.

Yep. There should be space for a humbucker mounting ring.

Took me awhile to get used to playing the V shape, but now I am lovin' it...

Thanks guys.  I highly recommend Tobacco Burst Zebrawood over Mahogany.  I thik I'm going with chrome rings, but am not really sure- sort of wish I would have gone the wood-mount route, but it's all good.
