Wow. Obviously wow after moving off of the KRK 6's I was mixing on prior. Here come some overused metaphors: the stereo imaging on these is mind blowing. Center-panned tracks sound like they are coming from my computer screen and sounds panned L/R are so wide. It's literally as though I have no speakers and the sound is coming from anywhere and everywhere. They disappear! No hyped frequencies.
Construction is bomb proof. Aluminum enclosures with very high quality circuit boards and pots/switches. Solid, solid detents on the pots and the switches are so positive and firm. Everything I listen to on these sounds new. I'm hearing ear candy I have never noticed even using the cans. INSANE!
