Floyd Rose / Schaller locking nuts R3 - string spacing and radius

I have found conflicting information about the R3 locking nut, and I'm interested in it and in a new neck that I could use to build a headless guitar.

The Floyd Rose website https://floydrose.com/products/original-locking-nut?variant=30510945234
states that R3 locking nut is for 12" neck radius and string spacing (E-E) is 35.95 mm (=1.42")

Warmoth website http://www.warmoth.com/Floyd-Rose-Locking-Nut-R3-Chrome-P275C859.aspx
states that R3 locking nut (made by Schaller) is for 12" neck radius and narrow string spacing (no exact size published)

Schaller website https://schaller.info/en/replacement-kits-for-tremolos/408/locking-nut?c=39
states that R3 locking nut is for 10" neck radius and string spacing (E-E) is 35.4 mm (=1.39")
I wrote Schaller and they kindly confirmed that R3 is for 10" neck radius even if it could be used from 8" to 12" neck radius

Then I wrote to Warmoth... and unlike what they have in their own website, they replied to me stating that the locking nuts want a 10" straight radius, or you'll need some shim.

My favorite guitar has a (bone) nut string spacing of 35.4 mm so the Schaller original R3 should be the perfect choice for me.
I'd like to know if you have any experience and comments about the real string spacing and neck radius with it (and where it comes from: Warmoth or other suppliers), because my idea was something flatter than 10", maybe 12" or at least 11", but I'm afraid of any compromise on the string action.

As I wrote I was thinking about a straight 12" radius fretboard. In case I could consider 11". I'm not sure if 10" is still comfortable for me.

It was not clear in your post what radius neck you were planning on. Hence my question.

Have you considered a Warmoth 10 - 16" compound radius. Then your concern goes away about the nut.

But the difference is extremely small so should not be a concern.

For flatter radii you could also consider a locking nut from Gotoh.
