Hadn't seen anyone posting about these.

Graphtech  LB63 Locking Bridge Pickup System.

A Floyd Rose with piezo saddles, allows you to get virtual acoustic sounds and the ability to run any
midi device such as the Roland guitar synths. I'm quite excited about these, as well as all the sound
possibilities on offer they also have string saver saddles. Not too expensive either if you consider that
there regular Floyd copy without the piezo saddles is more expensive? I guess they figure they'll make
money back on the electronics side, there ghost preamps aren't cheep.

Earvana Floyd nut.

I know they've had this up on there site for what seems like the past hundred years, but this is the first
time they've updated it and we now have a picture too. To quote Earvana "Still in the development stage
but very near release." Here's hoping.

Looks like a pretty high quality Floyd copy, as well.  I'd be a bit concerned about the earvana nut, however, given what I have heard about the original earvana.

Im really excited for those Graphtechs as well :D Ive been looking for piezos for a floyd forever

What did you hear about the original Earvana?
Just curious, before I buy one, what are the pros/cons?

well if the thing is made of metal it's probably ok

imo, the 2 piece earvana nuts are crap...

I've played a guitar with the 2-piece earvana with no problems - but I wasn't the one who installed it, so can't comment there.

But the OEM and shelf-style nuts they make are better IMO (simpler is better -- cowbell)

I don't know any cons other than the 2-piece ("retrofit") nuts look dorky and are probably harder to install. Also if you play medium or heavy gauge strings you'll probably have to do a little filing (to be expected).

I'm not a Floyd guy, but this looks like a pretty sweet upgrade for anyone who's into divebombs and other profanities  :icon_jokercolor:

Well I had one on my strat for a few months and I didn't like it at all. The plastic feels cheap and it killed what little tone my strat had. When I took it out and put a graphtech nut in it's place the difference was like night and day.

There is a new Fender style nut "coming soon" from Earvana, seems to be one piece.

4 pics down on the right

If that kind can just simply replace the nut without any modification to the neck then it will probably be very good.
