Floyd Rose bridge to match 10"-16" radius?

What Floyd Rose style bridges can match Warmoth's radius?  Original Floyds have a 10" radius at the nut and at the bridge.  I need a bridge with the flatter 16" radius.  Thanks!

Most Warmoth guys with Floyds shim the OFR to achieve the proper radius, at at least that has been my understand, and is what I would do.

i'm not sure why gregg didn't mention it but 16" is the radius at the end of the finger board, not the bridge, there was a post somewhere that had a calculator to demonstrate what it would be at any fret as well as at the bridge. it is a touch over 18 inches if i remember right, and warmoth (Gregg) suggests 18.5.

i'll also add that i'm a bit of a geek with geometry. i'm a machinist so i think about angles and radii as part of the job. the diference's in the cordial height between a 14" and 18" radius with the cord length in the range of the width of a guitar neck (1-5/8" - 2-3/16") is minimal. and the diference will be less pronounced on the playing surface because the board and the strings will both taper to the same 10" radius. your left hand wont know the diference. so the schaller bridge will be the way to go.

i can give exact measurements for shims on either one of the floyd bridges if you want to make it perfect.

Interesting..... so it doesn't really matter?  I never thought of how slim of a difference it really is.

it really depends on how big a perfectionist you are. the difference at the bridge between a 14" and 18.5" with 2-1/8" string spacing is .010" or about the diameter of your high e string. even if you wanted to shim it i don't think you'd know where to find the proper material to make the shims. i think you'll be perfectly satisfied with the schaller 14" radius.
the trick is to setup the height of the outer strings as normal so they don't buzz and let the middle strings be slightly high. i hope that helps.

Hm.  Thanks a lot man, I'm probably won't be able to notice that.  I'm not a fan of the Schaller's pot-metal design, so I'm probably gonna grab a Gotoh Floyd, which apparently also has a 14" radius.

Which one is the "Original Floyd Rose"?  I always thought Schaller was the original...

um, Original Floyd Rose is the Original Floyd Rose hehehe ;) Schaller is FL licensed...
