Floyd Neck prep?

What does the floyd neck piece prep involve? Is it just the holes drilled? If thats all it is ill do it myself, but do they do something else too?

i think it cuts a widened gap for the metal nut to sit in too. i'm not 100% on that, but thats what i had always thought. if you can drill holes you may be able to do that yourself too though

They cut the nut area for the locking nut. It's not just drilling, it includes prepping the mounting surface for the correct nut.
