flatsawn or quartersawn mahogany?

I got a piece of 1.25"x5.5"x40" piece of mahogany that I will be using as necks. The piece appears to be flatsawn but one side of the piece seems to have 45 degree off quarter. I know Fender used flatsawn necks for over 50 years without issue, but they used maple not sure if it will make a difference with mahogany. Obviously I will be having a truss rod in there but this will be for an acoustic guitar. Does Warmoth use flatsawn or quartersawn if mahogany is used or are all woods flatsawn unless otherwise requested (like quartersawn maple)?

I am 90% sure that mahogany needs to be quartersawn for necks, but don't quote me on that.

Ok I just emailed Warmoth about that they said they're only able to get honduran mahogany flatsawn anyways... so if it works then maybe it's not so bad...
