So a few years ago I started this idea building a guitar as a tribute to my dad. Well today it is finally done!!
I want to say thank you to the many forum member that helped me along the way, I could have never do this without this site!

Here are the specs:
Neck
  • Indian Rosewood
  • Ebony fretboard
  • 24 3/4 conversion
  • SRV back contour
  • Schaller mini locking tuners
  • TUSQ XL nut
Body
  • White Korina
  • Quilt maple top
Pickups:
  • Seymour Duncan P-rails
Switches:
  • 3 way blade switch (up:neck | Middle:both | down:bridge)
  • 3 way mini toggle (up:p90 | middle:Humbucker series | down: rail single coil)
Pots:
  • 2 concentric pots (top:volume | bottom:tone)
Bridge:
  • TOM stop tailpiece
Finish:
  • Wood inlayed back
  • transtint blue and black die
  • Tru Oil

So far I have only had an hour or two to actually play with it, but it is awesome. The sound is very full, a bit thick but airy (?) and it sustains for days. The neck is a bit thinker than I expected but I'm liking it.

Again, thank you to all the forum members that answered my questions.

That's a fine instrument. What a great way to honor your dad. :icon_thumright:

Very cool. Fine looking guitar. The very first Warmoth I built was a Rosewood Tele as a gift for my dad; I can dig this.

That's a lovely guitar, and a lovely motivation for making it.  Beautiful work.  Your dad clearly raised a thoughtful man.
