who cut the cheese.?

More importantly, was the cheese hand cut or machined! :icon_thumright: :icon_jokercolor:

Do you have a Tele fetish Max? This will be a good project to watch unfold, and it's always good to see Tonar's work in stages - lots ot learn.

The next one might not be a tele :P
Well, actually, the one after that. I've got an extra tele body laying around.

i was thinkin about a flat top LP but everyone convinced me to go for another Carved top LP. Its gonna be called The Tuxedo.

Strat, SG, Flattop LP, I'm not sure. Maybe that SG/Explorer :P

Do the SG/Explorer.  I'm actually pissed that you haven't yet.  I don't want to be the guy who jacked your idea before you even built it, but I want one.  ><

That Tele's gonna kick ass.  I vote for white.

I have BBQs in the bridge positions of all my guitars.  Best all around pickup I've heard- thick harmonic leads without flat and lifeless tone generally associated with HO pickups.  Through the green and orange channels of my MKIV they can pull off vintage tones, as well.  Here's what they sound like through a Mesa DR.  Sounds much better through my new MKIV haha:

Rio Grandes. Dirty Harry for the bridge, and a Genuine Texas for the neck.

i dont know why but i neverr heard any buz abot rio grande. what styles can one play with them? can you play heavy music with them?

I'm finally moving forward on this body, I had to strip it and start over because the white spit on the first coat and needed to be fixed.  So here it is with the light tan coat on top of the new white wash. In the second and fourth picture the paste filler has been applied.  I'll start shooting clear next week and once Max gets it put together and it gets some sun it should yellow up real nice!
