So the UPS man waited until the absolute last possible moment to deliver this tonight:

Chambered and unbelievably light (by my standards) at 3 pounds 4 ounces.

Lots of figure on the top (forgot to take a picture of the back, but the back is more typical ash in honeyburst - nice but not particularly special):

I got a black Gotoh-Wilkinson trem and it's routed for 3 P-90's, but the neck and bridge might be mini-HB or P-90-sized-HB. Someday maybe I'll have a neck for it too!

That's sharp! And 3lbs 4oz is light by anybody's standard. That's gonna be a comfy guitar.

That is a real beauty :glasses9: indeed.
And it's gonna sound sweet with those 3 P-90's
Keep the pics a rollin'
:rock-on: :kewlpics:

I've had great luck with GFS's P-90 sized HBs.  Put them in 3 guitars recently, and they're the bee's knees.  Splittable, too, and it sounds good split.  I'd do those in the neck and bridge with a P-90 in the middle.  Coil splits on the 2 buckers, and you'll have tones that will eat faces.

Thanks all.

I was actually thinking about those particular GFS PU's (the vintage wound versions) in that sort of arrangement. :icon_thumright:

I already have a P-90 for the middle, which is how this thing sort of "accidentally" found it's way into my shopping cart last week.  :icon_biggrin:

I'm not a three humbucker/p90 pickup kinda girl, but damn.  Niiiice figuring on that body, and a great finish too.  That's gonna be pretty sweet.

That's got some nice figuring in the Ash  :icon_thumright:

P-90's  .....  :icon_scratch: ..... OH NO !! ....  I see feel another build coming on

Thanks. I love the figured ash on this guy. And I also love that the figured ash cost quite a bit less than a maple top (or something else).

I just stumbled on this by accident, as I wouldn't normally be looking at ash in a see-through finish (unless it was for a vintage finish type thing). Live and learn.

I want your Ash. Very nice looking body! I don't care about weight, but that does seem like it would be comfy.  :occasion14: Diggin the 3 P90s as well. Very cool idea.
