Fender tuner swap??

This may sound like a stupid question but I haven't messed around with swapping tuners on Fender style headstocks. My MIM strat has the standard tuners and I'd like to swtich to the vintage style tuners.....any reason this wont work?

I'm almost positive you will at least need conversion bushings. The pins in the tuners will leave holes that won't match up to your new screw holes. Functionally you should have no problems.

I'll check into the conversion bushings. The pin holes should be covered up by the vintage tuners....right? :icon_scratch:

They will be covered. I just verified this. I have a MIM neck and Gotoh tuners and the holes are covered up!
