Fender Blues Jr. good or bad?

Ive played one of these at the local music shop and liked the sound. what do you guys think? The price has jumped to almost $500 so I might just buy a head that one of my band mates makes. have to see.

It's a decent 15 watt tube amp, but I'd be looking for a used one for around 3 bills, not that hard to find...

not sure about the black heart stuff. Ill have to check one out at he store. One of my band mates makes 50w dumble clones with 4 10's ($1200) and a version that's just the head.  I havnt asked him the price of just the head yet.
