So here's something that's puzzling me. I see on the Warmoth site that the Fatback contour has dimension of 1" thich at 1st and 12th fret. I've ordered one. But I'm also quite keen to have a go at carving one myself. So, I took a look at their neck blanks. And not one of them comes thicker than 3/4". So are they saying noone is gonna carve a fatback with blanks that they sell? In fact, isnt the thickness of a one piece maple neck more than 3/4" at the heel? I've got an old MIM with a rosewood board and it seems to be thicker than 3/4". So they dont sell blanks for someone to have a go at a one-piece neck?
