Does anyone know where to get unusual volume/tone knobs (See, I avoided the double entendre there)? You see the same ones everywhere, but it seems hard to find something different.

Wow, there is some serious knobbage going on on the THG knobs gallery page. All basses too, damn crazy bassists.

There's a guy on ebay who makes Warmoth Strats and puts 80's rubberized knobs on them. Those are pretty unique.

Those light up knobs look pretty cool huh?  Too bad I like passive circuits in my guitars

Those knobs light using a little battery that fits in the knob, not off the battery from active pickups...

Not I, they don't look quite right do they? :laughing11:

Only a cockknocker like this guy would do it (not on this guitar obviously :) :

Ahh

How do I put this.....  You got a problem with Kieth Urban? Is it because he is a talented guitarist, stressful artist or what?

I mean if it is just you do not like country, then why call him a cockknocker. he probably makes more money in a year than you will in your life, and has proven to have talent too

I think I would rather hard wire them puppy's to the 9V because button batteries are even more a pain in the ace.  They are cool though, and that's good to know.  :icon_thumright:

Miley Cyrus makes more money than me, should I respect her for that? I don't like him because he's cheese and has no soul. A commercial product and little else. And some chump from a hair metal band might be a more "talenented"  guitarist than, say, Angus Young (another Australian that I DO like!), but does that make said chump a better guitarist? I doubt it. Same goe sfor Keith Urban. Country fluff.

guess you have never seen Urban on stage, he can play that thing. And talk about a bunch of sell outs, the current breed of metal bands a cookie cutter molds to sell product. And I will say the average country guitarist probably could outplay most of them. Do not even get into bluegrass, those guys have licks the metal guys can only dream of.

I wasn't talking about metal bands out of admiration (although I think Meshuggah and Mastodon are pretty good), but frankly any technician can trot out on stage, doesn't mean they play with soul. Urban= starfarker. But +1 on the bluegrass Just.

Just be careful who you call a cockwanger, words like that are reserved for guys like Tom DeLonge :rock-on:

Scottie, thanks so much, I finally found some that I like that look a bit different and unusual and class. Not much to ask for is it? Thanks again.
