Try taking some Naphtha on a rag and wipe that streak down real good with it and see if you can get it to feather out. Then wipe some more filler on like stain and wipe it right off. That might fix it. If it does not fix it and you do not want to live with it re-sand the sides with 320 and then wipe the thinned filler on it with a rag being careful not to get it on face and wind up with the same problem again.
Looks good so far and it has wonderful grain.
