I am working on an EVH Wolfgang, Music man style.  The body is from USACG, quilt maple on mahogany.  The neck is Warmoth, birdseye all around.

I cut the headstock using a MM template.

Bridge is Evertune.  Finish is satin poly.  Pickups TBD.

Damn, that's cool looking. I like the headstock with that body. All maple on top looks good.

The owner sent it to EverTune for install.  A good deal of material was removed to install it.  I was not comfortable doing it.  I believe it is set for specific string tension and does stay in tune very well.  I will take the cover off and post some photos

Sweet, great job on the headstock. I still got a Warmoth VW I need to get a neck and do the 4+2 headstock. What did you start out with headstock shape wise?

I used a Paddle so it was easy.  I then pulled a straight shot of a MM head off google and scaled it to size for a template.  Actually very easy.

I have tried it with STRAT shape but not enough material between the 4th and 5th string to make it accurate.  I doubt the CBS is any better.

I have been noodling around with this guitar and bridge.

PROS:  The guitar stays in tune amazing!    It was shipped and has been in very different climates.  PERFECT tuning

CON:  BENDING A STRING DOES NOT EFFECT PITCH!    I am not sure if it is the set up, but I bent the E string as far as I possibly could, it BARELY effected the pitch.  This is a deal breaker for me.

Now knowing the dynamics of the bridge, I would feel it should have some sensitivity to string bending.  It may be in the settings.  However I would suspect the more sensitive to bends you make it, the more sensitive it will become to other changes.

To be clear, you're not talking about the other strings changing pitch when a string is bent, but the actual string your are bending not changing pitch, right?

How surreal is that?

Immediate and utter deal breaker for me. I can't even imagine.

You see that insanely cool picture of me to the left, in fancy-pants, looking like a total badass? That's what I look like every time I bend a note. If the notes don't bend all I have left is the fancy-pants....and that's just dorky.

Sounds like it needs some adjustment. I have never used one so have no direct knowledge of it to offer but it might be worth looking for a manual or set up video.

I like the headstock by the way...

You are correct.    I did go to the EVERTUNE website and you can adjust to allow for some string bending reaction.  However it will not be as we are used to.  Bending for what we are used to 1 or 2 notes about may only turn out .5 or 1 above.    :tard:

Definitely a setup thing. There's some mention of that result and what to do about it here. Doesn't "fix" it, but gets you some of that ability back.

Been a while waiting for the customer to decide on pickups

I also worked out the tuning on the bridge
This thing is amazing.  It really holds tune well looks killer.  I hope to have it completely wired soon
