Even seen one of these?

I was browsing the Artec site regarding a new project I'm working on and saw the following picture:

Anybody ever seen a humbucker like that?  Ok, I know a lot of people don't like gold, but look at that thing.  Am I the only one that thinks that's gorgeous against that acoustic top?  Maybe it's a custom pickup.  Just wondered if anyone's ever seen that design before.

Very cool! In fact it kind of steals my thunder a little. I have some "wood" tops in process for what I'm doing as well. That pickup is very do-able. A humbucker set up with a metal surround and a "wood" top across the bobbin. That is most likely a "Formica" top. They have some really great simulated grains these days and it's very stable and resistant to scratching.
