I liked figured redwood.... I have some around here somewhere, waiting for the perfect project.

That is a really sharp piece! You must be very pleased. I know I would be. I agree with Robert about the pickguard, too. Looks good on there.

Yes I’m REALLY happy with it. I am going with the pick guard but will mount with adhesive instead of screws. The 3D flames on it look about an inch deep. Very cool effect. Warmoth finish is perfect everywhere. I stilll can’t believe someone bought the redwood moon caster before I could fit it in the budget. 3a Birdseye neck is still about two weeks out the roast maple fatback is filling in till it arrives.

Guard in place......p90 cover will get a transparent brown and should match the redwood pretty well. If it works I’ll make a cover from quilt maple then color match.

All wired up with a four way Tele set up ....this thing rocks.  :headbang4: the pick guard is on with no screws but the top is too uniform without it. AS my Birdseye necks is still is production que I used the Brazilian ebony . The guitar has powerful bass and bright highs . The Lollar special t bridge pu is as awesome as the p90 and together they are just magic. I don’t think I can do a better Tele . The next will be a couple mooncasters.

I found them on reverb. Forney custom guitar parts....very good quality and a great guy to deal with. I highly recommend his products. Priced lower than a bunch of crappy knobs.

I just checked out that vendor. Great looking product and fantastic prices. I see myself buying from them in the future. Thanks for the tip!

Very glad to help.

Beautiful guitar !
It's also comforting to see someone with a GAS affliction seemingly worse than mine :laughing11:
