Hi all, I've been seriously wanting to build an Ernie Ball Armada, because I can't afford something of that price if I were to buy the real deal. However, nowhere that I've looked builds bodies or necks in that style. Does anyone know of a site that builds that style of body or neck so that I can get started on this unique build? Thanks :)

Ah, you'll have your work cut out for you finding someone who'll build a close copy of those babies at an accessible price.  Assuming someone were out there doing it, the fact is they are quite labor intensive for the one-off builder if you want to replicate the fancy binding on the face of the guitar, and not popular enough for a mass manufacturer to go after a market for them.  And then there's the problem of EBMM being quite litigious when it comes to infringement on their designs.  I wish you luck, but I doubt whether you'll have much.

Here's the design in question for the curious reader:

Pretty cool, EB makes some good guitars. This one kinda reminds me of the Corvette LP's some yrs back...

You could get a routed body blank from Warmoth and make a pickguard the same shape as the Armada V either from plastic or wood. With that, you could then shape it any way you want. In fact, I might be tempted to so one myself sometime.
