Earvana not needed on baritone?

I would say "no", but then I'm not a huge fan of them to start with so take that with a grain of salt. A properly cut nut won't allow string sharping to any noticeable degree, so what are you compensating for?

I've got an earvana nut one one of my telecasters.  Based on that experience, I'd say they are not really needed at all  :)

So I'm 'no' on the earvana for a baritone.

I had an earvana nut on my first 24” Mustang neck and found it to have worse intonation than a normal nut. I can imagine that the nut is designed to help with the intonation on a regular scale neck (ie 25.5”). Since my 24” sounded more ”off” I’m guessing you might have similar problems with an earvana nut on a baritone.

I'm probably the closest thing the forum has to an Earvana fanboy. But
1) The longer the scale length, the less the need.
2) Earvana is a great idea, but it's a one size fits all solution. More specifically, your string gauges and scale length may require more or less compensation per string. As long as you have a plain G though, it should at least be a nudge in the right direction.
3) It's plastic - as long as that's ok with you, have at it.
4) As everyone else has pointed out and will surely do so again at every opportunity, you're chasing a small difference that may or may not be noticed on a galloping horse. (Whether it has a name or not).
