E-Mail order template??

Is there a way to get some kind of "template" for e-mail ordering? The online neck builder doesn't have a color finish option so I guess I will have to order by mail but I don't wanna miss out anything or write anything incorrect...

Has anybody ordered by mail and is it as safe as to order by the builder???
 
I order all mine on-line via email. No drama  :icon_thumright:

When you have decided on what you want, on checking out there is a section for adding details.
Add in there what you want done.
But ... anything you want done NOT listed, you have to acknowledge the extra costs for doing that.
Because that wouldn't be added on to your checkout costs.

ie: lets say I want a unfinished maple / ebony neck from the showcase.
But as you say there is no option for painting in other colours.

OK so lets get a neck finished with just the headstock painted in a solid colour, rest of neck was in Clear Satin Nitro.

Look at that table, and you will see that cost me $115
In the order, I didn't fill in the neck finish ie: Clear / Satin etc options you only see for the neck.
I added it in to the extra notes section.
I also wanted the Skull & Bones at the 12 fret only.

So in my added notes I put ......
I would like the Pegface ONLY finished in Graffiti Yellow, rest of neck in Clear Satin Nitro.
Also would like the Skull & Cross Bones at the 12th fret ONLY, rest clean.
I acknowledge the extra costs for doing this ... Thanks

Nut / Tuner holes and SSFrets were already added in at the neck options.
BTW that was a custom neck order, but can do the same with showcase neck, except for the inlay work.

I just ordered a showcase unfinished Strat neck, and had to add into the checkout notes  that I wanted it cut as a Warhead shape.
Which is an extra $45 ....  (Not shown on site)

They replied to check and say that's all OK.
There service is outstanding.  :headbang:

Ok seems good, I'll go with e-mail next time to make sure I get my neck painted right :)
 
Once you've completed the builder order, there will be place to make some notes or request just before finalizing the order. You could enter what you need there if it's not found in the builder. If there is a problem they will email or call you. I did this recently after speaking with a rep and it worked out fine.

Maybe as a precaution you could put something like, "I would like the neck to be finished in pink polka-dot which was not listed in the builder. Please contact me if this is not possible or any questions. Thank you!".
 
I don't get where it is!!! It's not in the cart, and it's not in Checkout.

Why cannot that be included in the builder?! Just a text box with "other requirements" or something like that?! It's so awkward that so simple things is not there.
 
When you go past the 1st page on the checkout ie: on the 2nd page go down to where it says ... Notes-optional.

In there is where you state what you want.  :icon_thumright:
 
Ok, but if I click "continue" on the Checkout page, have I made the order? I don't have the money to make the order right now so I cannot do a mistake and placing an order I can't even afford at the time  :tard:
 
Only when you put your Credit Card details in, and you press that magic button  :icon_biggrin:

Just back out and delete your order if it was from the showcase. (so then I can buy it)  :laughing7:
I toss things all the time into the cart then go and see the shipping costs etc.

But sometimes I keep going too  :help:
 
I still better wait until I have money before clicking that button :toothy12:

I know exactly what I want. I just need a refund from that guy who couldn't isntall the frets straight  :sad:
