Don't know that Van Halen truly counts as "Dutch Rock"?

If you know Focus, you must be as old a fart as myself, never saw that live version before.

First time I saw Golden Earring was in Dallas in 1970 or 1971, they were touring in support of and played the entire Moontan album, blew everybody away. They were the "support act" for  headliner, but I can't remember whom, it was pointless to try to go on after them.

Apparently some Dutch band named Diesel sang a song about a busted Rambler and a trip to California....

Sure they do :)
they were already 50% dutch, and now they added a 2nd generation dutchman, so the only american left is DLR...
oh well, ok I know they don't truly count, but we still want to take credit for them... :icon_biggrin:

50% Dutch, now 3/4 Dutch?  You're referring to Wolfie?  He's natural born USA, I believe, and the father is only half of the heritage.

I don't think of VH being a Dutch band anymore than I think of Metallica having a Danish drummer.
