So, my Deluxe 5 jazz $$ build is coming along nicely, if not a little slowly due to time constraints, but I am in a postion now where I will be purchasing the pickups.
I'm already pretty much decided that I am going to get the Seymour Duncan Music Man pickups, but was wondering what all the bass players here think about the idea of putting the alnico version in the bridge position, and the ceramic version in the neck position? I know that pickup variety on guitars is very common (sometimes even different manufacturers for the different positions), and just wanted everyone's opinion.
