Drop top binding on Tele

Except for the upper bout cutaway, there's very little difference between a Tele with tummy and forearm contours and a Strat. So why not offer binding as an option? Masked edges look nice -- binding looks even nicer.

I'm pretty sure I enquired about this about a year ago...

They said OK, but you have to have a laminate top due to the way they do the binding.

Maybe they will agree to do it for you?
