My experiences have been about the same. Definitely a dive-only trem, and the bar sticks out of the face of the guitar alot, so if you have any Jeff Beckish simultaneous pinky volume swells and whammy flutter notions, fuggetabadit. Definitely a very solid piece of gear, thought. Good quality machining, etc. Very solid feeling and comfortable bridge, but i suppose alot of that has to do with the saddle choice. I used the graph tech string saver classics. Oh yeah... USE LUBE. It makes a big difference in the smoothness of the trem movement. Petroleum Jelly is what they recommend, but any machining lubricant works.
The boogie rail is my #1 bridge choice if I have to replace a six hole trem, but I still prefer hipshot and wilkinson two point trems.
