..for a more vintage tone.
Installed Highwood Vintage Contoured Saddles (really made an audible difference in moving towards that sound). Really impressive update that FMIC should have implemented. The saddles curve inward and have a through-hole drilled through two points, which allows the saddle height adjustment screw to recess below the saddle for comfort. Style points for the smooth string grooves.
Also - have a full set of Bare Knuckle 59 Slab Board pickups coming to get move me away from the late 60's tone of these (hugely impressive) Rocketfire Total 60's pickups. Turns out the sound in my head is from the 59-62 Strats. Note the installed Red Bishop Trem Arm & Holder; these go on to all my trems.
Two saddles are specifically designated for use on the outer E strings, as the height screws are set slightly wider to fit into the grooves on the base plate. These work to keep the saddles in line.
