double neck bodies

This isn't so much a suggestion as it is a question for the Warmoth employees.

On the Strat/P Bass double neck, are the guitar and bass locations on the body set in stone?  Can the bass neck be on the bottom, and the guitar portion be on top?  I'm wanting to get a baritone neck on top, with the bass neck on the bottom.  I'm primarily a bass player, and the bass portion would be more comfortable lower with the guitar part higher.

just a question . . . I wonder what the difference in the weight distribution is between the two !?

Why is everyone afraid to call Warmoth? Their highly trained and experienced staff are eager to help you...

Not that anyone here minds helping - we wouldn't be here otherwise. But, when it comes to questions about policies, possibilities, modifications and so forth, I call them first. Can't argue with the servants of the Oracle. They're really good people, and you won't waste a lotta time on the phone if you're worried about phone charges. Ask a question, get an answer RFN. Say "thank you" and be on your way. I don't think I've ever been on the phone with them for more than 60 seconds or so.

3 reasons.

1.) There is a thread called the suggestion box
2.) Others may have or be interested in the answer.
3.) The Warmoth people have expressed trivial things can slow down production times.  Seeing how this thread is 4 years old, and I haven't built a baritone/bass doubleneck, it was trivial.

Good points. But, we pay them to answer questions and take orders, so if you don't make 'em do it, you'll put 'em out of work. You don't want a bunch of premium guitar building experts just wandering the streets, do you? Lord only knows what kind of shenanigans they'd get up to.
