Mahogany Body with a Bubinga Top.
Karosa Goncalo Alves Neck with an Indian Rosewood fingerboard.

We had a 60 degree day here in Kansas.  Not bad for January.  So I took advantage of the sunlight.  Natural light is so much better for photograpy.  The woodgrain really pops.

The clips are a litte rough.  I did them quickly after band practice.  All recorded on the neck pickup, into my tonelab set to AC30, straight into my laptop.

Neck pickup is the only pickup - although a bit of dirt would be fun too :laughing7: Great looking and great sounding guitar!

That sounds really really nice, and looks twice as good! Have you 'Put Her To The Test' giver her a high gain  whi and see how those awesome p-90's stack up?

More sound clips....
Bridge Pickup, Marshall setting on my BOSS BR1180CD.
Gov't Mule Inspired riff.

This clip is also using a Marshall model, bridge pickup.  Harmony guitar line at the end is the same setting but with the neck pickup.

Dude! That thing does it all!! Remind me, are those noiseless pickups?

I'm not loving the Marshall model, but I can hear that the guitar itself sounds awesome.

Nope, not noiseless.  They're wound to "vintage" specs and have both alnico II and V magnets in each.

As far as the models I used for the clips, I agree.  Upon listening back to them today, it sounds a little brash and "tin-can".  I just went with the presets and did'nt do any tweaking.  I'll be the first one to say that's not the way to go, you should always "season" the amp model to match the guitar, but I was in a hurry.

great playing and a couple of nice tele's ! thanks for posting the clips, I think people around here are a little shy of posting clips, I for one!

I don't understand why.  We're guitarists, we build these things to play music, or what some can only loosely refer to as "music".  These guitar thingies make noise, they should be heard, even in the tiny snippets we're alowed here.  I'm suprised there arent more.

The truth is that if someone put a gun in my head ask to play something I would probably get a headshot :laughing7:

Once again a Warmoth assembler sacrifices tone for looks. These p/ups sound Terrible, I have MIM fender's w/ stock p/ups that sound just as good as these.

Well go play that then instead of making pointless negative comments on other peoples guitars.
