Does Warmoth do a finish like this?

On a serious note, this may well be the coolest bass i have seen.
I really hope that you guys agree:

Okay. THAT is awesome. Bassists are just so much more adventurous than we dull guitar players.

Very true, Rich.  What's up with the fanned frets on a 4-string, though?

I really like Conklin basses design.  They put too many strings on them, though...  anyway here's a cool 7-string: http://www.conklinguitars.com/potm/february.html

looks cool - but I hate pictures like that. Not one picture that actually lets you see what the whole thing looks like. Once again it's the bad porn syndrome.

Pron connoisseur much, Gary?  I agree though. And THAT bass, Line6man, is actually a pretty amazing piece of work. It's just not my thing, still.

I wouldn't say I'm a connoisseur, but I know what I like. And too many close-ups is not it. I'm not particularly interested in gynecological exams. :icon_tongue:

I like that last bass, line6man. The inlays are especially tasty  :laughing7:

And I'd be worried about the Seuss bass's neck falling off, personally. I'm just paranoid about that, I guess.

Conklin does some badass stuff. Some of the basses are a bit over the top, but I like some of the 6 strings in their custom shop gallery...

This one looks pretty "Dangerous".....hehehehe

What happened to the Hello Kitty strat you just posted?

You have to admit though, the placement of the switches, acting as teeth is pretty clever.

The shark ate it......hehehe

They probably switch between the output jacks or something.
Maybe Series/Parallel and Humbucker/Single Coil modes.
Mute and high cut?
