A proposed build....

Deluxe 5, rear-rout, alder, quilt maple top, dyed red top, trans red back, clean-line top line...
EMG 40 routs, Bridge and neck..... Three-band EQ... Hipshot A bridge, Hipshot Ultralite Tuners....
I definitely want the 3+2 headstock.....
I'm curious about possible neck wood ideas......
Looked into a possible Moses neck, but am also into the
Idea of a wood neck as well.... Most likely maple.....
Can Warmoth do a compound or flatter radius on a Deluxe 5 neck, up-charge is of course expected.....

When you say the "3+2" headstock, you mean the "Deluxe 5 Warmoth" neck (similar to Gecko) correct?

If the body has a dyed red top and a transparent red back, then you'll probably want a dark wood for contrast.

Wenge is a good choice;  Indian Rosewood would also be nice.  Either would be good for the fingerboard, or if you want the darkest possible wood, go with Ebony.

For a different approach, consider Canary as a nice lighter-colored wood that has a striking contrast with the red tones of the body.  These look great as fingerboards too!  You'll need to request this one, since Warmoth doesn't usually have a lot of this in stock for bass necks.
