Hey guys, I've had this bass for a couple months now but I don't think I ever posted a picture of the finished product.  It's a swamp ash/quilt maple body with a string-through bridge, bartolini preamp, GFS pickup, and wenge/wenge 24-fret neck.

Aside from the speed bumps  :blob7:, very cool!

How useful are the 24 frets though, given the limited access?

I like that a lot! Very nice man.  :headbang:

Awesome quilt and finish. Very very nice.

I'm not a fan of the overhang of 24 or even 21 frets fingerboards but that's a personal thing I suppose.

Nice, man!  How is the Bart treating you?  I've heard nothing but good things about those.

Not very useful.  The overhanging bit of wood angles down toward the body so action and intonation are atrocious above 21 anyway.  Its main purpose is to look cool and occasionally be a thumb rest.  :p

Definitely a unique look, and I'm sure...sound.  *I* like it a lot, and may have to do something similar  :glasses10:
