David Carradine, dead at 72.

Spontaneous reaction: Aw, frick. Didn't see much of his work but I liked him in Kill Bill.

Uncles of mine called me Grasshopper when I was a kid (Kung Fu episodes were new back then), now I call my kids grasshopper and they have no idea what I'm talking about.

Time has come to put Kung Fu on the the top of my netflix cue.

get in line with everybody elese who's gonna do that ???

sad to read that he hung himself.

Is that true?  I read that he was found hanged and that there was no sign of forced entry.  But has it been determined that he hanged himself?  Apparently he was in Bangkok to film a UK movie.

Somethings definitely fishy here.  Either he had some incurable illness or some kind of habit we weren't aware of.

so the rumors on the internet fly....guy at work says another part of his anatomy was tied off as well.

Stupid way to die.  In thailand you can rent a wife for a month and then die from a heart attack in bed.  Oh well .. . to each his own.

Yea, I agree :headbang:  However, I think three wives would be a better way to go, if I had to go.
Things are sounding really strange about this.  Official news now stating he was found bound by his neck and genatiles  :toothy11:  :toothy11:

Time to bring up The Ox...

"Entwistle died in a hotel room at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on 27 June 2002 one day before the scheduled first show of The Who's 2002 US tour. He had gone to bed that night with a stripper, who woke at 10am to find Entwistle cold and unresponsive. The Las Vegas medical examiner determined that death was due to a heart attack induced by an undetermined amount of cocaine. Though the amount in Entwistle's bloodstream was not great, the drug caused his coronary arteries, already damaged due to a pre-existing heart condition, to contract. Entwistle used cocaine throughout much of his adult life."

That, to me, is pretty much the perfect death for a rock star.

He died less than a week before I was supposed to see them.

He could have at least played through the tour. What a jerk.
