Has anyone tried to finish a full body in cyanocrilate?. I'm planing a new build using pine for the body and in order to give it  more strength my thought is to finish it with some coats os cyanocrilate, anding and polishing. I know there's people that uses this method for fingerboards (mostly for fretless bass) but for a body... Any advise?. Thanks a lot

I have used it in small areas to fix dings and chips.  Never on a whole body.  For that I used Z Poxy.  It is a two part epoxy that dries rock hard and has a slight Amber hue.  I have used on pine and spalted maple.  Here is a build I did using the z Poxy.  It can be sanded and finish applied right over top of it.

+1 for z-poxy.  Here's a pine body I did with it and nitro over

Is that a Surfleaf body??

check out the 12 string in my sig...one of his.  I have done three so far.  Good stuff.

Yeah, got a blemished one off eBay.  The z-poxy also helped fill all the dings and dents.
