Custom Paint Job

Yep, I'm going with a wilkinson VS100. Ordered the piezo saddles and the pre-amp. I heard without it , it sounds shite.

:(  I have a big problem here guys. This is going to be for me the penultimate guitar. Don't think I will ever top this, and compared to this, every other guitar is going to look like junk to me.

I feel so "complete" right now, also disappointed at the same time.  :binkybaby:

Kind of like Will Ferrel as Harry Caray.  "I bet the guy that invented the Space Shuttle tried to invent other things too, but they weren't as good.  His greatest accomplishment was his most crushing defeat."

Not sure about abalone. Might too too much. I still like the idea of a slight black overburst more.

Just received a confirmation email from Bob Randolph. All I can say here is... WOW.  :)  I have never in my life had anyone give me such exceptional customer service, and a real pleasure to deal with. This is what makes a huge differance for me. Keep up the good work Warmoth.    :icon_thumright:

When I ordered my last showcase body and various parts from W, Bob was on the other end of the phone.  Real class act, every t crossed and i dotted.

so I keep looking at that petrucci and thinking "boy, I'd hit the sh*t out of that switch above the knobs on heavy chord rips". I have a hard enough time steering clear of the volume knob on my strat, lol.

Looking forward to your build, the black burst > clear gloss will be beautiful.

Yeah, me too. I will be drilling the 3-Way Switch myself.(I ordered it without one for this reason) That way I can place it near the knobs, but behind the base of the bridge. I also need to drill a hole for piezo 3 way switch.

That's a super-sharp body!

I worried the first time I bought a "no-inlay" neck, but as long as the side markers are there it didn't seem to matter to me. Got used to it in no time, and the guitar looked better to my eye, particularly with necks that had outstanding pieces used as fretboards.
