When I ordered my custom Tele neck a few weeks ago, they told me 8 to 10 weeks lead time to get it made and shipped. No problem, but I wanted to check and see what people are seeing lately with regards to shipping a custom neck. If it ships early, I want to make sure I have aquired all the misc. hardware I need for the build first. Also wanted to see if you got an email when your order shipped with a tracking number. Thanks for any info :)

That's pretty much it.  If it's unfinished it'll likely be sooner, if it's got a finish it'll take the full time.  Extra custom options can vary the waiting time like binding.
UPS Quantum View email fires off when there is a tracking number.

Maybe Doug or Marko or... will chime in on how long it takes to get from Washington to Texas.  Usually you get the Quantum View email, and then it is a matter of days.  Be sure your account at the Warmoth site has the proper email account that you check and receive your emails with.  Otherwise you just end up with a package at the door and you have a pleasant surprise.  I doubt that happens too often with the way we all like to use computers these days, but it is always good to check.

Same here, also in the R6, Luke and Marko neck of the woods.  5 days, shipped on Monday, arrives on Friday.

However, I have had stuff ship w/out the Quantum View email.  As I understand it, that's a UPS courtesy, and nothing to do with Warmoth.

I believe it, but having the right email is sort of a requirement as well.  And while you are waiting and pacing and tapping your finger and so on, it gives you one more thing to do obsessively.
